Opal Pendant With Sterling Silver Bezel Setting $100

The iridescent opal color is found in thin layers between intervening layers of rhyolite and other volcanic rock. Triplets are made by cementing a stone containing color to a backing to give it strength. Then the uncolored potch is ground away until the beautiful opalescence is revealed. A protective glass dome is cemented on top with water clear epoxy and the whole piece is ground and polished before setting.

Price is $100 to destinations in the US. Please ask about additional shipping costs elsewhere.
