Mother of Pearl Pendant $90

This beautiful mother of pearl retains the natural concave curvature of the abalone shell. The piece is securely held within a handmade ring of brass with argentium silver prongs. The metalwork is given a coat of lacquer, in the same manner that brass musical instruments are coated, to protect and keep it shiny.

Argentium is a silver alloy that contains a small amount of germanium, which gives it a higher tarnish resistance. Argentium has a silver purity of .935 while sterling is .925 and fine silver is the purest at .999, that is, 99.9% pure silver.

The necklace is approximately 1-3/4 inches square

The necklace comes with a 16 inch brown twisted cord and is secured by means of a knot and loop. 

The colors seen in this piece are ever changing. The flashy gem-like mother of pearl is highly iridescent and hypnotic. It is guaranteed to delight and is sure to attract compliments and admirers.
